The Baptist at that time were using the church Bldg. now the Mexican Baptist church at Houston & Jefferson. The Bldg. was then located where the Assembly of God church is now located - Washington & Jefferson. The Bldg. was later moved to its present location.
The Baptist preacher when we rst attended church was named Rankin (tho I am not positive this is right). Anyway he was a stocky man with a real Beer Keg belly or Fallen chest.
